In April we visited Keith & the girls in Virginia. Since the girls were in school during the day we decided to do some sightseeing. We visited Jamestown & Yorktown and the Fort Story Lighthouse. One afternoon, Keith took us to the Norfolk Navy Yard and we looked at the boats, including the new George W. Bush aircraft carrier. I stayed a couple of weeks longer, as Keith had surgery. |

In June we took a vacation with Larry & Anna to Texas, New Mexico, Colorado & Oklahoma. We camped at Palo Duro Canyon in Texas and Greenleaf Lake in Oklahoma. We visited my brother, Larry, in Dallas, My brother, Dan, in Colorado, Ricardo's family in Amarillo & Raton and attended our nephew's, Joseph & Aaron's graduations from High School. There are several albums to look at for this trip. |

These pictures are of our visit to Larry's house, family that came to Amarillo for the graduations, the Amarillo Zoo, Amarillo Lake, and a Ranch Rodeo we all attended one night. |

We continued our trip to New Mexico. We stopped off at Capulin Mountain and the kids were so excited that they were seeing an actual volcano and they could walk down into it. We spent an afternoon with Uncle Al & Aunt Louisa. |

George took the kids with him to feed his horses and then he let them ride. What an experience for all of the kids! They really enjoyed that special treat. That evening we drove up to Lake Maloya and Ricardo, Anna & Larry hiked up to Lake Dorthy, which is in Colorado. The kids just had fun throwing rocks into the water and putting their feet in the water. I don't know how they could stand it. It was freezing cold! |

We spent a couple of nights at Greenleaf Lake in Oklahoma on our way back to Georgia. This is where we used to go camping when our kids were little. Such great memories here. We had a great time, even if we did get our tents blown over in a horrible storm and Larry, Anna & Joseph had to spend a night sleeping in the car. We swam in the lake and did some fishing in the children's pond. |
